Deborah McGonigle, Principal

J.B. Watkins Elementary School encourages all students to become life-long learners who are prepared to live as productive citizens in a constantly changing world. Students will receive a rigorous and relevant educational program which engages students in 21st century skills and teaches the values needed to become effective members of a global community.

We believe children should learn the academic and social skills to give them the traits necessary to become independent, responsible, life-long learners. Coalminers are “SMART“, they Show Kindness, Make Good Choices, Act Responsibly, Respect Self and Others and Try their Best!
