Watkins Elementary welcomed the creative team behind the “Detective Duck” children’s book series on Oct. 17. Emmy award-winning actor Henry Winkler, children's book writer Lin Oliver and Caldecott-winning author-illustrator Dan Santat shared their storytelling process with students. Best known for his role as Fonzie on “Happy Days,” Winkler encouraged students to know their strengths and work past difficulties to achieve success.
